Flora Yee

Flora is first a secondary school choir instructor and then a Pilates instructor. She has been teaching school choirs since 1996 and participating in regular national and international choir competitions and events with them. Due to a stressful work practice, she used to fall sick frequently. When she started taking up body-mind-soul classes like stretching, Pilates and yoga in 2009, she felt herself becoming healthier and more able to cope with work-related stress. Subsequently, her lifestyle became more balanced.

Flora began to find Pilates very interesting and challenging as there were many modifications and possibilities available for different clientele. There was also more to Pilates than just mat exercises – she realized that the principles of Pilates were also applicable to help her choir students sing better.

Eventually, Flora decided to take up an instructor course to deepen her own knowledge of the subject. With the certification, opportunities to teach and cover Pilates classes became available. Kimberly Lim

Pilates Instructor

Kimberly was diagnosed with scoliosis at a very young age and was recommended to start swimming to mobilise the spine. She went into competitive swimming for many years but eventually stopped due to allergic complications from the sun and chlorine. This led her to venture into other activities like weight training but she unfortunately sustained an annular sprain on her lower back during one session. This was a major disruption to her active lifestyle and she had to refrain from doing any high-impact activities for 3 to 4 months – even sitting down or jumping for more than 10 minutes brought pain.

During this down-time, Kimberly was recommend to do Pilates for rehabilitation for about 4-5 times a week. She found that Pilates helped to improve her lower back strength and she no longer suffered from pain as long as she limited her flexion exercises. Since then, she has been very careful in exercising good posture and form in her day-to-day life.

Inspired by the changes she saw in her own body, Kimberly decided to get her teaching certification in Pilates to spread her knowledge and experience to others. Her vision is to empower people to reap the benefits of Pilates and help them gain better control and mobility in their bodies. Her enthusiasm and love of the method is evident to everyone who comes her way.

홍 수지 Su Ji Hong

Pilates Instructor

As a former musical actress, she has been devoted to physical fitness and health since she was a teen. She discovered Pilates in college when training for physical strength and endurance for dance. The core principal and exercise helped her become stronger and deepened her knowledge about exercising safely. To her surprise she could dance better than before and she had more energy, better balance and more focus. Feeling passionate she became certified and started teaching Pilates in Korea.

She is a firm believer in the Latin saying “mens sana in corpore sano,” which translates to “a healthy mind in a healthy body.” She wants to help you transform your body so you can also enjoy the benefits of a healthy mind through Pilates.

What can you expect from your workouts?

With Pilates classes you can expect to feel a difference in your body in just a few sessions, whether it’s for lower back pain, postural improvement or a general improvement in energy levels. After 10-20 sessions you should see a noticeable change in your physical appearance and feel stronger in your daily activities.

Core Suspend™ and Neurac™ have an almost instant effect. Assuming that you work hard during class your muscles will feel lighter and looser. Your back, shoulders and hips will feel uncompressed and muscle tightness will begin to be alleviated.

Who are our clients?

Our clients range from pregnant ladies to youths to geriatric rehab patients to the fittest of competitive athletes along with those who just want to stay in shape. There are very few restrictions as to who can workout with us and everyone is welcome.
