Trista is from a dance background and achieved an Advanced Certification of Modern Dance at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. She is also trained and certified in STOTT Pilates Mat & Reformer Level 1 and Yoga 200 hours Stretching Instructor Certification. Due to her dance background and knowledge Trista teaches Stretching, Yoga on the Reformer and ballet-inspired Barre Body Sculpt group classes at OptionsPilates.
Steve has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years and joined OptionsPilates in 2012. Steve is fully trained and certified in both the STOTT Pilates and Pilates Academy International methods. He also holds certifications in Core Suspend, Silk Suspension TRX, Schwinn Cycling and is a fully trained NASM Personal Trainer.
Melissa’s interest in Pilates started in her university days in Singapore when she was told Pilates was the best way to improve her posture and tone her muscles. In 2006, she moved to Canada, where she completed the instructor training program at the headquarters of STOTT PILATES in Toronto and earned her full STOTT PILATES certification. Since then, Melissa has completed numerous other certifications and courses including prenatal Pilates, Stretch Therapy, TRX and Surfset Fitness. After moving to Hong Kong in 2015, she became deeply passionate about Yoga and has completed various Yoga teacher training programmes. In the past 10 years, Melissa has trained clients and managed studios in Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong and Indonesia. She has trained hundreds of clients from all walks of life and her greatest joy is to able to share her passion for fitness with all her clients.
Hiroko has experience in a wide variety of movement methods and physical training including Gymnastics, Ballet and Track & Field. Hiroko studied Sports Science at Nippon Sport Science University in Japan and moved to Hong Kong in 2009. She is trained and certified in STOTT Pilates Mat & Reformer Level 1 and joined OptionsPilates in 2014. Hiroko teaches classes in English and Japanese – in which she is both fluent.
