Jiyoon has always been enthusiastic about fitness, travelling and gaining new experiences. In her early 20s, she travelled to various countries and started practising Yoga in 2007. She eventually became a Yoga instructor in 2012. Shortly after, Jiyoon got into an accident and was diagnosed with a herniated neck disc. She had to resign from her job and stop all forms of exercise, which frustrated her.

As time passed, Jiyoon discovered Pilates for rehabilitation, which benefited her recovery and inspired her. In 2017, she began her career as a Pilates instructor. Pilates helped her understand the importance of muscle connection and rehabilitation.

After her accident, Jiyoon was profoundly grateful to live her rehabilitated life and sought to share her valuable experience.

Jiyoon believes in this quote from Joseph Pilates, "Pilates is the complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit". She knows how important a good balance of mind and body is.

Her goal is not only to conduct physical training for her clients but to share her experience with everyone on how Pilates can enhance a person's life through positive energy and vitality.


20대 초중반부터 요가강사로 활동하였으나  예기치못한 자동차사고로 인해 평소 좋지않던 목의 디스크 진단을 받으면서 좋아했던 운동과 함께 일을 중단 할 수 밖에 없었습니다, 이 때 힘든 시기를 겪었지만, 한편으로는 저에겐 몸과 일상의 소중함을 더 깨달을 수 있는 계기가 되었던 것 같습니다. 시간이 경과함에 따라 재활로 시작하게 된 필라테스가 몸과 마음의 회복에 많은 도움이 되었고 제 스스로 삶을 바라보는 태도 역시 이전 보다 더 긍정적으로 변화가 되었습니다..

   필라테스를 접하며 배움을 넘어서 더 나아가 강사로서의 커리어를 시작하게 되었고, 사람의 몸을 다루는 직업이기에 저 역시 제 일에 대해 무한한 책임감을 스스로 느끼고 있습니다. 또한 저 역시 힘든 시기를 겪었기에 누군가의 감정과 고통을 대변할 수 없지만 아픈 분들의 고통과 노고를 이해하고 공감합니다.

  이 일을 통해 저 또한 제 회원님들로부터 인생을 살아가는 많은 것을 배우고, 그 분들이 점진적으로 좋아지고 변화하는 과정을 바라보며 보람과 성취감도 느끼면서 제게 주어진 일상과 매 순간에 감사함을 느끼면서 살아가고 있습니다. 단순한 육체적 움직임을 넘어서 힘든 시기를 경험했던 사람들에게 필라테스를 통해 변화를 도와드리고 이를 함께 공유하고 싶습니다.
